About this nanny job
We’re spending August at a family lake house in Highland, NY and are looking for an experienced toddler sitter/nanny for weekday help. Primary care would be for one toddler, age 1.5–2. There will be another toddler on site, along with parents and another nanny, so you may sometimes coordinate with another caregiver or help with both toddlers briefly, but the goal is to keep responsibilities clear and manageable. We’re looking for someone warm, reliable, safety-minded, and very comfortable with toddlers: meals/snacks, naps, diapering/potty basics, stroller walks, outdoor play, simple activities, and keeping the day calm and structured. Schedule would be weekdays in August, roughly 30 hours/week. No overnights needed. Ideal candidate: Significant toddler experience Calm, attentive, and safety-focused Comfortable around water/lake setting CPR/First Aid preferred Comfortable working alongside other adults/nannies Local to Highland/New Paltz/Poughkeepsie area preferred Please include your August availability, hourly rate, toddler experience, and whether you are CPR/First Aid certified.Nanny job details
