We are a warm loving family in the Falls Church/Annandale area (Lake Barcroft) - 40 hours a week - FLEXIBILITY in scheduling is key as we both work full-time and my wife is a K9 Police officer with variable scheduling - Must be available for some evenings - Start date: ASAP but have some flexibility to start anytime in May/early June ideal - End date: September (upon our next au pair arrival with some flexibility to train her if interested) - Hourly wage - Overnights/weekends off Eligibility Criteria - Must be comfortable driving Children in my Subaru outback to activities - Must have water safety and be able to swim - English fluency (Spanish is a plus!) my 3 year is very verbal - Experience with 3 and 2 year olds -Must be comfortable going outside in any weather - HIGH ENERGY ENGAGING ACTIVE (no sitting on a park bench while kids are at playground, sorry my kids are too young/active and this is not safe) Preschool teachers, teachers, prior au pairs, college students welcome to apply! We plan for live out, but if interested in negotiating live-in we can discuss! Other important information - We have 2 dogs/1 cat - We encourage socializing and play dates, love for you to teach social skills and proper interactions/taking turns, etc. - My kids love nature and are high energy they must go outside and we also encourage fine motor activities - Parents prepare all meals, I mostly work from home, sometimes my wife is home to help out some. We will provide 1-2 weeks of training; I try to schedule county activities (music, art, swim). We are pool members and live at a lake beachNanny job details
