Hi! We’re Teresa and Kurt, we are Bay Area locals. We are looking for a wonderful, long-term nanny to join our family team and help our two little ones thrive! Adam (2): Our happy, active boy who loves to run and play. Lillie (1): Our sweet, calm baby girl who is just starting her journey with solid foods. We both work from home and are very involved parents. We live in a cozy apartment where we love to pop in and say hi during our breaks. We’ve had amazing experiences with nannies before and truly view our nanny as an extension of our family! A Partnership in Health & Safety Our little ones are currently undergoing daily immunotherapy and have unique health needs. Because even a common cold can cause setbacks in their clinical progress, we really value a partner who prioritizes their own health and wellness. The "Symptom-Free" Goal: Initially, we will keep play indoors to ensure Adam and Lillie stay 100% symptom-free during this phase of their treatment. Future Adventures: As we build trust and a shared understanding of our safety goals, we would love for you to take them out to quiet, non-crowded areas to play! We just ask for continued vigilance in keeping them away from other children who might be exhibiting symptoms. Communication & Integrity: We value total transparency! We ask that you let us know ahead of time if you’re feeling even the slightest symptoms (like a scratchy throat or congestion). Wellness Support: To encourage this honesty, we provide 3 days of paid sick leave per year. Any additional sick days will be unpaid to allow us to cover backup care for their immunotherapy. Allergy-Safe Home: To keep the kids safe, we are a Cashew, Pistachio, and Egg-free home. We’ll ask you to double-check labels on any personal snacks to keep their environment 100% secure. Medical Peace of Mind: We’ll provide training and look for someone confident in using an EpiPen or seizure rescue meds if ever needed. Why You’ll Love Working With Us Growth & Incentives: We are starting the rate at $30/hour, but we are more than happy to increase this as we build trust. We truly value someone who takes our health protocols seriously and will reward that dedication with a higher rate as we grow together. The Schedule: Currently M-F, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM. We’re looking for someone who can eventually transition to a 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM shift. A Supportive Team: We are always here to pitch in and help you get settled.
