About this nanny job

We’re a warm, happy family with a sweet 5-month-old boy looking for an early morning caregiver a few days a week so we can get a little extra rest. The role has two modes: Early morning: • Arrive quietly, take over baby care independently • Bottle feed, help to sleep, comfort, and care • Help build and maintain a gentle nap routine Later morning (only when baby is sleeping or with us): Shift into mother’s helper mode: • Light kitchen cleanup, dishes, laundry folding • Tidy baby toys and living areas, put away groceries • No deep cleaning — no floors, no bathrooms (we have a regular housekeeper during the week) You’re a great fit if you: • Have solid hands-on infant experience (under 12 months) • Are a natural early riser who enjoys quiet mornings • Can arrive without waking the household • Embrace a gentle, respectful parenting approach • Are flexible and proactive — we are too • Have verifiable references from infant families • Are comfortable around a shy but friendly cat Bonus: Conversational Russian, Farsi, or Mandarin. Parking may be available. Compensation: $30–40/hour depending on experience. Hiring process: Video or phone call first, then in-person meeting, then a paid trial shift. All in-person time is compensated. Start date: Immediately. This starts as a temporary hourly role but has potential to grow into a regular weekend position with benefits for the right person.
