About this nanny job

Hi! We are looking for a kind, reliable, and loving nanny for our 1-year-old son. On some days, you may also help with our 4-year-old son, and we will of course pay an adjusted rate for two children on those days. We are an active, easygoing family, and our kids love to play, move, read, and be engaged. Most of the time, care would be at our home. We have a nice yard, lots of toys, and plenty of space to play. You can also take him on walks, and after we get to know each other better, trips to the playground would be great too. What matters most to us is finding someone who is patient, present, loving, respectful, and truly enjoys being with kids. We are looking for someone who is not constantly on their phone, but actively engaged — playing, reading, being silly, going outside, and creating a safe and happy environment. The schedule we are looking for is mornings, ideally around 8:00–11:00 AM, with some flexibility. Occasional weekend help may also be an option if you are available. Next year, we will likely need more hours, around 25+ hours per week, if it is a great fit. You are welcome to eat anything you find at our home while you are here. We are pretty easygoing overall, but our kids are everything to us, so we really want to find someone who treats them with warmth, love, and care.
