About this nanny job

We are looking for a part-time nanny to help us out in the upcoming school year. We live in downtown Bethesda (15 min walk to metro or we have parking spot). I’m a stay at home mom but having trouble engaging with my kids and doing all the chores at home. We also have a dog (an allergy friendly doodle) who requires my attention. A typical day would have you arrive around 2:30-3pm. I’d walk the dog and then go pick up my 4 year old from school while you help my 2 year old up from his nap. Both kids would be home at 3:45 and I’d love to find someone comfortable taking them to a class or the playground nearby. Around 5:30pm we do dinner and then baths. There would be days I’d ask you to do meal prep/cooking so I can take the kids out. I’m looking for someone who can help with basic household tasks such as kids laundry, unloading the dishwasher and taking out the trash on the days I take the kids out. I’m really looking for someone to be my partner in taking care of the kids and all my chores and need someone who is flexible on what each day looks like. There could also be days you just have one kid while I take the other one out. We are flexible on which days of the week, but ideally would like someone 3 days per week.
