About this nanny job

We're looking for a warm, experienced nanny to care for our 2-year-old daughter while we work full-time from home. We're seeking an experienced childcare professional who is confident independently running the day (meals, naps, outings, play), genuinely enjoys toddlers, and is passionate about helping children learn and grow. We value open communication and see our nanny as a partner in our child's development - someone who will share observations and work collaboratively with us to provide consistent routines, expectations, and support across caregivers. Our daughter is a happy, talkative child who loves to pretend play, sing songs, read books, and go on trips to the library and playground. Schedule & Start Date: - Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm - Fall start date (flexible start between Sept-Nov) About the role: - Primary care of our 2-year-old, including meals, naps, diapering/potty, and age-appropriate play and activities - Planning the day — parks, library story time, developmentally stimulating home activities - Maintaining a consistent daily routine while being flexible when things shift - Communicating proactively — daily recaps, flagging concerns, sharing wins - Keeping play areas and child-related spaces tidy Experience: - 3+ years of professional nanny experience with toddlers, including at least one multi-year placement with a family who'd love to talk to us - An active practice — not just familiarity — with a child-led approach (Montessori, RIE, or similar), and a point of view on limits, big emotions, and meal time that you can share and adapt as our child grows - Current CPR and infant/child First Aid certification - Up-to-date on all vaccinations - Non smoker - Comfortable with a background check; legally authorized to work in the U.S.
