About this nanny job

Looking for help taking care of my son, to open up my work schedule a bit. I’m a single, full time dad and currently have him 24/7/365, he’s 7 years old and has Autism and Epilepsy. Both are well managed through medication and daily routines. Our Thursday schedule is pretty set in stone, weekends may vary between Friday, Saturday and Sundays for a few hours to several hours, but will obviously check and make sure your availability works as well. Every other weekday I’m pretty flexible on as well, so if you want more hours or a different day it doesn’t have to be Tuesdays just let me know! His routine: 6-7 am wake up/breakfast 7-8 am ride to school from 7-8am, 8am-4pm attends school (an ABA center) 4pm-5pm is the drive home. 5-7pm is play/dinner time. 7-8pm is medication/bedtime routine. Thursday Exeptions: I’ve enrolled him into a neurodivergent tball league where I will coach as well, it ends every Thursday about 6:15-6:30pm so looking for someone yo pick him up from there and transport to our home while I go to my softball league. He has multiple regular appointments throughout each month as well that I will take him too. Once trust is built I may be comfortable with you picking him up from his school and transport to our home if you want extra hours. But I’m also open to taking that on myself at this time. His epilepsy and autism are strictly well managed by medication and his routine. Looking for someone who is CPR certified and can handle a seizure or a meltdown appropriately and patiently when they occur. He is several months seizure free as of now and really only has a breakthrough seizure when he’s sick, if that. He warms up to people pretty quickly, so no concerns there. He understands but has limited language, but is getting better by the day. Ideally looking to interview to find the right candidate and also do a meet and greet with him prior to you starting.
