About this nanny job

We are a Seattle-based family (Montlake/Capitol Hill, near Arboretum) seeking an experienced, reliable and warm part-time caregiver to help us with weekend care for both of our kids (3 year old & 15 month old toddler), ideally starting June 13th. We are seeking someone to partner with us through September 20th and are open to a longer term arrangement. OVERVIEW: - Family: Single Family, two children (15 month old girl & 3 year old toddler boy) - Location: Montlake/Capitol Hill - Parking: is easy to find & plentiful on our block - When: starting mid June - September 20th - Schedule: Saturday & Sundays, 10am - 7pm - Pay: $/hour DOE RESPONSIBILITIES: - Diapering - Age Appropriate Activities, Play & Reading - Bottles & Administering Meals - Maintain sleep schedule & routine - Organizing, tidying nursery & play area after play - Administer lunch & snacks - Wash Solids Food items & Solids Bowls - Light kid-housework (tidying toys, books, restocking diapering areas, etc) - Both kids are super joyful, sleep trained, on a schedule and eating solids. It would be a *plus* if you can drive (with a clean record) and have experience managing multiple kids. Above all, we value honesty, consistency, open communication, reliability, organization, creativity and someone who will help foster loving, caring, and attentive support so that our kids feel safe with you. This role is perfect for someone who truly enjoys toddlers and is looking for consistent additional hours with the potential for extra time, if you’d like (i.e., you’re open to occasional full-day or part-time coverage when preschool is closed, date-nights, etc)
