About this nanny job

We are looking for a kind, reliable, and engaging part-time sitter to care for our 5-year-old daughter this summer in our Middleton home. Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:30 AM–12:30 PM Hours: 16 hours/week Dates: June 1, 2026–August 28, 2026 Location: Middleton, WI Our daughter is curious, social, and energetic. She enjoys arts and crafts, books, outdoor play, and imaginative games. She does best with someone warm, patient, creative, and attentive. Responsibilities include: Engaging her in active, screen-light play such as crafts, reading, backyard play, parks, and games Preparing a simple snack or light lunch Light tidying of play areas Possibly walking to nearby parks or the Middleton library Sending a quick update by text during the morning Ideal candidate: Has experience caring for young children Can provide references Is reliable, punctual, and communicative Is a non-smoker Is comfortable with light outdoor activity CPR/First Aid certification preferred but not required Own transportation is a plus Background check welcome Compensation: Competitive hourly rate, depending on experience.
