About this nanny job

We’re a family in Snoqualmie with two energetic, fun-loving boys (ages 6 and 9) who love sports, being outdoors, and staying active. We’re looking to start with occasional babysitting for date nights and events, with the hope of building a long-term relationship with someone who could eventually become our consistent weekly sitter (for example, one evening per week from school pickup through bedtime), plus occasional weekends or early mornings/evenings as needed. Our boys are sweet, curious, and energetic, and do best with someone comfortable setting kind but firm boundaries. We’d love someone who genuinely enjoys active kids, balances fun with structure, and feels comfortable helping with dinner, homework, bedtime routines, and keeping up with high-energy evenings. We’re looking for a woman age 25+ who is reliable, calm, communicative, and interested in becoming a trusted, long-term support for our family—not just an occasional sitter. Safety is extremely important to us. Strong references are required, and CPR/First Aid training and prior childcare experience are strongly preferred. We may request background checks and references as part of our process. We have one friendly cat. Competitive pay for the right person (~$40/hr depending on experience and fit). Ultimately, we’re hoping to find someone who becomes a trusted, consistent part of our family rhythm over time.
