Part-Time In-Home Nanny Needed for 5-Year-Old Child (Hybrid Work Parent) We are seeking a trustworthy, dependable, nurturing, and professional part-time nanny to provide in-home childcare for our 5-year-old daughter during school closures, holidays, occasional sick days, and other childcare coverage needs. This position is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys children, values safety, respects structure and boundaries, and understands the importance of professionalism within a family’s home. This role is strictly in-home childcare. No transportation or driving responsibilities will be required under any circumstances. Care will take place solely within our residence. About Our Family: We are a structured, respectful, safety-conscious household seeking someone who can become a reliable support person for our daughter in a calm and positive environment. Parent works a hybrid schedule and may work remotely from outside of the home during childcare hours to allow the caregiver full ability to manage the day independently. Our daughter is energetic, social, affectionate, intelligent, and loves engagement, conversation, creativity, and play. We are looking for someone patient, attentive, interactive, and emotionally aware. Position Details: - Part-time/as-needed childcare coverage - Hours will primarily align with: - School closures - School holidays - Half days - Occasional sick days - Additional pre-arranged coverage needs - Advance notice will usually be provided whenever possible - Flexible availability preferred - Position is located in our home Primary Responsibilities: - Supervise and care for one 5-year-old child in a safe and attentive manner - Engage in age-appropriate play, activities, reading, and interaction - Prepare simple/light meals and snacks as requested - Maintain a clean and organized environment related to childcare activities - Follow household routines, expectations, and boundaries - Provide updates throughout the day if requested - Monitor child closely during indoor and outdoor play - Support emotional regulation, respectful behavior, and positive communication - Notify parent immediately regarding any concerns, injuries, illnesses, or emergencies Meal Expectations: The caregiver may occasionally prepare light meals/snacks for the child such as: - Breakfast items - Sandwiches - Pasta - Nuggets - Fruit/snacks - Easy child-friendly meals On some days, meals may be provided or delivery options will be arranged by parent.
