DAILY SCHEDULE & RESPONSIBILITIES Morning — 7:30am through School Drop-Off • Be ready and present by 7:30am to support the morning routine • Help get both children up, dressed, and ready for the day • Make the kids' beds and tidy their rooms — pick up toys, reorganize, restock diapers and essentials • Join the family for breakfast together • Clean up the kitchen after breakfast: dishes, counters, full reset • Get the children out the door and drive them to school, 4–5 days per week Mid-Morning — After Drop-Off • Return home and do a thorough house reset: kitchen, common areas, and kids' spaces • Put away dishes, take out trash as needed, return toys to their places • Run 1–2 loads of children's laundry per week (wash, dry, fold, put away) • Handle grocery shopping requested by mom for the day or week • Do any dinner prep requested by mom — chopping, prepping ingredients, etc. • Handle small kid-related errands as they come up • Help with light organizational tasks: researching and signing up for camps, soccer, classes, and activities School-Off Days — Full Day with the Kids On days when school is out, the expectation is a full day out with both children — the Exploratorium, de Young, Golden Gate Park, a neighborhood playground, a drop-in class. We'll always have ideas to share, but we love when you come with your own and take the lead. We want our kids out in the world, curious and happy, and we trust you to make that happen. Occasional Evenings & One Weekend Evening Parents handle pickup and evenings almost always. On the occasional evening we have a work commitment or travel, we'll need coverage and will give advance notice. We also ask for one weekend evening most weeks, within au pair program hour guidelines.
