Household Manager & After-School Lead We are seeking a structured, highly proactive Household Manager and After-School Lead to manage afternoon logistics and provide decisive leadership for our two children (ages 9 and 7). This role is designed for a domestic professional who thrives on organization, independence, and active engagement. This is not a passive caretaking position; you will function as a confident extension of parental authority and standards. Schedule & Operational Structure Monday through Friday, 12:00 PM (or 1:00 PM) to 6:30 PM / 7:00 PM. Phase 1: Household Operations (12:00 PM – 3:00 PM): Before school dismisses, you will independently manage the baseline maintenance of the home. Core duties include handling family laundry, managing daily dishes, kitchen cleanup, proactive tidying, healthy meal/snack prep, and executing an active daily walk for our friendly, housebroken 8-pound puppy. You are expected to utilize this window efficiently so the house is completely reset for the evening before the children arrive. Phase 2: Tactical Childcare & Activity Coordination (3:00 PM – Close): Following school pickup, focus shifts entirely to active engagement. Responsibilities include coordinating logistics and transport for a busy afternoon schedule of activities (including music, dance, and youth fitness classes) and providing strict supervision over homework completion to ensure high standards. Core Requirements & Behavioral Expectations * You must possess the natural authority to set boundaries, enforce house rules, and ensure routines are followed with patience and firmness. Passivity, laziness, or task-avoidance will not work in this environment. * Core hours are guaranteed. In the event of school scheduling shifts or calendar changes, you must be comfortable pivoting 100% of your guaranteed hours to household operational tasks with a low-friction, professional attitude. * You identify what needs to be done to keep the home running smoothly without needing continuous direction, hand-holding, or a checklist.
