About this nanny job

We’re looking for someone to join our team during the evenings and weekends, for a guaranteed minimum number of hours / week (flexible, to be mutually agreed). My husband and I both work demanding and unpredictable jobs that can require long hours / late nights / weekend work and travel. We’re looking for help caring for our 2.5 year old son and 6 month old daughter and generally keeping our house running. You’d often be helping alongside either my husband or I, though there will be occasional times when you’d have both kids solo - so please only apply if you’re comfortable caring for multiples, including a baby : ) Responsibilities would include the following (some days would focus more on childcare, others would focus more on the house, depending on family needs and schedule): * Preparing and feeding the kids dinner (including solids + bottle for baby) * Bath  * Bedtime  * Dinner cleanup * End of day house tidying (not deep cleaning, just tidying up the day’s mess / emptying dishwasher, etc) * Playtime with the kids, including outdoor adventures on the weekends  * Naps on weekends * Organizing and inventory management (unboxing packages, organizing / managing house supplies) * Occasional laundry * Occasional preschool pickup for our toddler * Meal prep and grocery shopping (not a requirement, but would be super appreciated if you love to cook!) Ideally you could also: 1. Drive the kids (you could use our car) 2. Travel with us occasionally (we take about 2-3 vacations / year) We would agree a guaranteed minimum number of hours / week, and would set the schedule for each week either weekly or monthly. So while each week may look slightly different in terms of the days and exact hours per day, your overall weekly hours and comp will be consistent.  We have a private, en suite bedroom/bathroom on a separate floor of our home, with a private entrance, if you’d prefer a live-in arrangement.
