PART-TIME HOUSE MANAGER NEEDED — U Street/Adams Morgan About us: 2 busy parents, 3-year-old, newborn, and a friendly mini Aussie. We already have a weekly cleaner. Schedule: Mon/Tues/Thurs, 1:30–5:30 PM (12 hours/week) Pay: $25/hr Start: ASAP We need someone who: - Keeps the house tidy and running smoothly - Notices things before we do and takes care of them - Works on their own without being told every step Your main jobs each day: Tidy up - Put away toys, clothes, books. Clear counters/floors. Quick vacuum main areas. Laundry - 1–2 loads: wash, dry, fold, put away. Kitchen - Wipe counters, load/run dishwasher, keep sink empty. Dinner help - Prep simple Blue Apron-type meal kits and clean up after. Dog - Quick afternoon walk. Check & refill stuff - Soap, toilet paper, paper towels. If it’s low, refill it or add to the grocery list. Once a week: 1 small project like wiping the fridge, baseboards, or window sills. Not a deep clean — just staying ahead on little things that add up. This job is NOT: Deep cleaning, organizing closets, cooking big meals from scratch, or watching the kids. You’re a good fit if: You see what needs doing and just do it. You like making homes feel calm and organized.
