About this nanny job

We’re a friendly, easygoing family living in Dolores Heights, just a couple of blocks from Dolores Park. We have two children — a 3-year-old daughter and a 3-month-old son. We’re hoping to find someone kind, dependable, and proactive to help support our family on Sundays during the day. The expected hours are roughly 8am–5pm, though we’re extremely flexible and care most about finding the right fit. Both parents will generally be home and involved throughout the day, so this role is less about sole charge care and more about being an extra pair of trusted hands when needed. Our son usually naps after about 60–90 minutes of awake time and is comfortable falling asleep on his own without needing rocking or a pacifier. Some examples of ways you might help include: * Assisting with the kids’ morning routines * Caring for one child while we focus on the other (for example, staying with our son while one parent takes our daughter to an activity) * Spending time with our daughter while we work during the baby’s naps * Helping with light household upkeep like dishes and tidying * Taking the kids to the nearby park so we can catch up on work or reset a bit * Coming up with fun, thoughtful activities for our daughter Overall, we’re simply looking for an extra set of caring, reliable eyes and hands to help our Sundays feel calmer and more manageable.
