About this nanny job

We are a friendly family looking for a warm, dependable, and experienced babysitter for our two children — a fun and imaginative 5-year-old daughter and an active 18-month-old son. We’re hoping to find someone for a regular evening schedule, ideally every other Thursday (with potential flexibility for monthly scheduling or a different day of the week, the key is we would like something regular). Hours would generally begin around 5:00 PM and run through around 11:00 PM, with occasional later evenings possible. Responsibilities include: • Engaging and playing with the kids after daycare/school • Serving dinner/snacks (usually pre-prepared) • Helping with the bedtime routine for both children • Light tidying after the kids are asleep (kitchen cleanup, toys, folding kids’ laundry, etc.) We’d love someone who is: • Kind, patient, and genuinely enjoys young children • Experienced with both toddlers and preschool-aged kids • Reliable and communicative • Comfortable managing two bedtimes independently • CPR/first aid certified Bonus if you: • Have references available • Are looking for a long-term babysitting relationship We are located in Park Slope, Brooklyn.
