About this nanny job
Lesbian couple in the Castro seeking a warm, reliable, engaging part-time nanny (30 hrs/week) for our newly 1-year-old daughter. We’re looking for a long-term fit (2–5 years) with a gradual start in July/August and full start by mid-August. Spanish fluency/conversational ability strongly preferred for language immersion (we speak English at home). Must be CPR certified, comfortable lifting 30+ lbs, navigating stairs, and being around dogs/cats. Reliability, punctuality, proactive communication, and comfort using inclusive/non-heteronormative language are required. Familiarity with the Castro is a plus. Pay DOE. Offering either PTO or guaranteed hours. 2–3 references required; childcare/nanny experience preferred. Hiring process: virtual interview, in-person interview, and paid trial/shadow shift.
