About this nanny job

We are a friendly, active family looking for a reliable, experienced, and nurturing nanny to care for our 9-month-old son while I work from home. We want someone who truly loves infants and understands their developmental needs. We would love to work with someone our son can form a genuine bond with. Daily Responsibilities: - Provide attentive, one-on-one care for our 9-month-old son during the day (approximately 10am–5pm, Monday, Thursday, Friday) - Follow and maintain daily routines for naps, feedings, and playtime - Engage in age-appropriate play, sensory activities, and language-rich interactions to support infant development - Prepare and feed solid foods according to our guidelines - Handle all diapering, and general hygiene - Keep the baby's play areas tidy - Communicate openly with parents at end of each day (nap times, mood, milestones) Requirements: - Infant CPR & First Aid certified - Background in child development, early childhood education, or equivalent hands-on experience with infants - Minimum 2 years of professional nanny or childcare experience, with verifiable references - Willingness to complete a background screening - Valid driver's license and clean driving record (in case of errands or outings) - Non-smoker - Must be comfortable working in a home where a parent is present but working - Legally authorized to work in the U.S. - Must be comfortable in a home with dogs (we have 2 trained dogs) The Ideal Candidate: - Warm, patient, and genuinely passionate about infant care - Knowledgeable about infant sleep patterns, milestones, and developmental stages (0–12 months) - Proactive; anticipates the baby's needs rather than waiting to be told - Punctual and exceptionally reliable - Calm under pressure and comfortable handling fussy or teething periods - Trustworthy and discreet, respectful of our desire to keep screens & phones away from the baby - Communicative, able to communicate throughout the day when he needs to breastfeed When You Apply: - Please send a brief introduction about yourself and your experience with infants - Share your availability and earliest possible start date - Let us know your CPR certification status We look forward to hearing from you!
