We are looking for a warm, reliable, and engaging part-time sitter to help care for our two children this summer. We are hoping to find someone available for a minimum of 12 guaranteed hours per week, likely in two 6-hour daytime blocks between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM. We are currently considering Tuesdays and Wednesdays, but the exact days and times are flexible. Our biggest priority is finding the right person and creating some consistency for the summer. For approximately 4 hours of each shift, we will need fully focused childcare while we work. The remaining time can be more flexible and may include a mix of childcare and "mother's helper" tasks, such as helping keep things tidy, assisting with meals, cleanup, and light housekeeping. Our children are wonderful, sweet, and well-mannered. Our daughter loves art, music, ballet, and any excuse for a celebration or party. Our son loves all things vehicles—cars, trucks, trains, and anything with wheels. They enjoy imaginative play and receiving plenty of attention and engagement. Because we have a close-knit family, I expect to be available during the transition period while everyone gets comfortable. We are looking for someone who is kind, playful, dependable, and genuinely enjoys building relationships with children. We would love to find someone who is interested in building a meaningful relationship with our family. While we are currently looking for summer support, there is potential for additional hours and days if the fit is right and a strong relationship develops with the children. There may also be an opportunity for the position to continue into the fall and beyond for the right person.Nanny job details
