About this nanny job

We’re looking for a part-time babysitter, mother’s helper, or au pair to join our family’s village this summer! We spend much of the summer at our home in Kerhonkson, NY and are seeking supplemental help caring for our two sweet boys (ages 2 years and 5 months). We have a full-time nanny whom we adore, but we’re looking for an additional caregiver who can provide support when she isn’t with us, particularly on weekends, some weekdays, and occasional evenings. The role is flexible and could be a great fit for someone looking for part-time summer work. Responsibilities may include helping with childcare, playing with our toddler, assisting with meals, light tidying related to the children, accompanying us on outings, and generally providing an extra set of hands during busy family times. We’re looking for someone who is: • Experienced with infants and young children • Warm, reliable, and engaging • Comfortable working alongside parents and our nanny when needed • Available throughout at least part of the summer • CPR-certified (preferred) Housing is available for occasional overnights or extended weekends, making this a great opportunity for someone who may not live locally but is interested in spending time in the beautiful Hudson Valley area. We are a kind, easygoing family looking for someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with young children and becoming a trusted part of our family’s support system. Our ideal candidate is proactive, energetic, and excited to jump in wherever an extra pair of hands is needed. We do have two small dogs (mini goldendoodle and a senior chihuahua) so must be comfortable with animals!
