About this nanny job

Hi! We’re a young friendly family in Georgetown looking for a caring, dependable nanny to help care for our son, Kai, who will be about 4-5 months old when care begins. My husband and I both work in tech and primarily work from home, so we’ll often be around during the day. We’re looking for someone who genuinely loves babies, is patient, engaging, and enjoys helping little ones learn and grow through age-appropriate play and interaction. The position is approximately 16 hours per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, around 11am-3pm or 12pm-4pm) starting in July. Responsibilities would primarily include caring for Kai during his wake windows, bottle feeding, diaper changes, playtime, and helping maintain his nap schedule. Light baby-related tidying is appreciated but our main priority is providing loving, attentive care. We’d especially love someone who speaks Spanish, as we’d like to expose Kai to the language early, though this is not required. We also have one very sweet rescue cat, Macy, but no pet care is needed. We’re hoping to find someone who feels like an extension of our family and who can help keep Kai happy and engaged while giving me the flexibility to focus on work, household tasks, appointments, or a workout during those hours.
