About this nanny job

Hi! We are a warm, active family in the Menlo Park/Atherton area looking for a full-time nanny to care for our two daughters this summer, with the possibility of continuing beyond the summer for the right person. Our girls are entering 1st and 4th grade and are kind, creative, energetic, and fun to be around. They love swimming, arts and crafts, reading, playgrounds, bike rides, playdates, camps, and spending time outdoors. They are very social and enjoy staying active throughout the day. We're looking for someone who is: Experienced caring for school-age children Reliable, organized, and proactive Comfortable driving children to camps, activities, and playdates Energetic and enjoys planning fun outings and activities Kind, patient, and a positive role model CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain certification) Responsibilities include: Keeping the girls active, engaged, and having fun during the summer Driving to camps, activities, swim lessons, playdates, and local outings Preparing meals and snacks for the children Helping maintain a positive daily routine Light child-related housekeeping (tidying play areas, children's laundry, organizing toys, etc.) We are a dual-working-parent family that values kindness, communication, reliability, and creating a positive environment for our children. We're hoping to find someone who will become a trusted part of our family's life and help create a fun and memorable summer for our girls. Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (some flexibility available) Start Date: Summer 2026 (ASAP) Compensation: Competitive and based on experience Location: Menlo Park / Atherton area Excellent references and a clean driving record are required.
