☀️ Full-Time Summer Childcare Needed – Arlington, VA (Starting July 20) We are looking for a caring, energetic, and reliable caregiver for our two children (ages 7 and 3) beginning July 20 through the end of the summer. Our kids are active, curious, and love spending time outdoors. They enjoy swimming, playgrounds, nature walks, exploring local parks, and meeting up with friends. We have a pool membership, and a big part of the summer will involve taking them to the pool and helping them have a fun, active summer. Responsibilities include: • Supervising and engaging the children throughout the day • Taking them to the pool, parks, playgrounds, and neighborhood activities • Preparing breakfast and lunch for the children • Helping pack bags and get organized for daily outings • Supporting approximately 30 minutes of reading and workbook activities each day • Transporting our son to occasional summer camps or activities when needed Hours are generally Monday through Friday, with early morning starts between 7:00–8:00 AM and afternoons ending around 4:30–5:00 PM. Fridays are typically a shorter day, ending around 2:00-3:00 PM. We are looking for someone who is dependable, active, enjoys being outdoors, and loves working with children. A car is not required for this position. Most activities are within walking distance of our home, including parks, playgrounds, and the pool. If you are also looking for housing this summer, we are open to discussing a live-in arrangement. We have a private bedroom and bathroom available. Room and board can be provided in exchange for a reduced compensation package, with pay adjusted accordingly. We are happy to discuss both live-in and live-out options depending on your situation.
