About this nanny job

Hello! My name is Kijsha (Kai-sha), and I am looking for a part-time sitter for my two children. I am preparing to start a second job on the weekends and am hoping to find someone interested in a long-term, consistent position unless circumstances change in the future. The hours I need care are Saturday and Sunday from 5:45 AM to 5:45 PM. My shift ends at 5:00 PM, but I like to allow extra time to get home. If I arrive earlier, you are welcome to leave before 5:45 PM. Both of my children have food allergies, so I will provide all meals, snacks, and drinks. Please do your best not to share outside food, snacks, candy, or drinks with them, as many products may contain ingredients they are allergic to. I have allergy action plans for both children, as well as any medications they may need in the event of a reaction. My son is still in diapers, and my daughter occasionally needs assistance with wiping after using the bathroom. Because of this, I am looking for someone who is comfortable with diaper changes, assisting with bathroom needs, active play, meal supervision, and caring for toddlers throughout the day. If you have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and experience transporting children, I would be comfortable with outings such as trips to the park (no swimming pools), the children’s museum, or other kid-friendly activities. I do ask that you let me know your plans ahead of time so we can discuss them, and I can provide any money, supplies, or information you may need. Honesty is extremely important to me because I am trusting you with the care and safety of my children, and potentially their transportation as well. Toddlers can be very active and energetic, so I am looking for someone with strong experience caring for young children. My children love books, imaginative play, outdoor time, music, and age-appropriate activities. You can definitely implement a nap time/ quiet time schedule where there are movies, reading and or tablet time. I understand that this position takes up a large portion of your weekend day, so I truly appreciate anyone who considers it. I am looking for someone who is trustworthy, reliable, patient, and caring. The good news is you’ll be off before 6:00 PM, just in time to enjoy the rest of your weekend!
