About this nanny job

We are looking for a reliable, caring nanny to help care for our two children 3 days per week from approximately 6:00 AM–3:00 PM (about 27 hours weekly). Typical days are Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, though the schedule may occasionally vary. We prefer long term availability. Start Date: June 24 Location: Linda Vista Pay: $25–$27 per hour, depending on experience Requirements: CPR certification and reliable transportation You would be caring for our 16-month-old daughter and 5-year-old son. We also have two friendly dogs who may get excited when you arrive. Our son has Down syndrome. He is incredibly sweet and loving, but does require some additional support that we would be happy to discuss further. Experience with special needs is not required — we are simply looking for someone who is open-minded, patient, accepting, and willing to learn. Our 16-month-old would be home with you during the day, while our 5-year-old would need transportation to school, summer school, or camp activities depending on the season. During the school year, walking to school is usually an option. However, summer activities require driving to various locations, so dependable transportation is essential. We would also love to find someone who may occasionally be available for date nights as needed.
