Active & Caring Mother's Helper Needed for 2 Sweet Girls (Mon–Thu, 2–6 PM) Location: Westchester Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM (16 hours/week) Start Date: August 10th Children: 2 girls (ages 2 and 4) About the Role We are a busy, loving family looking for a reliable, proactive Mother’s Helper to join our team! We have two energetic and sweet daughters (2 and 4.5 years old). This is a dynamic role that is a mix of childcare and family assistant support. Your day will start at our house at 2:00 PM to help with some light household prep before picking up both girls from their school at 3:00 PM. Their school is just a quick 5-minute drive from our home. From there, you'll bring them home, get them settled with a snack, and keep them engaged, or step in to help with household tasks depending on our work schedules. Key Responsibilities Pick-up & Transport: Pick up both girls from school at 3:00 PM and drive them safely back to our house. Childcare: Keep the girls engaged with fun, age-appropriate activities (crafts, playing outside, reading) when parents are working or unavailable. Meal Prep: Cook simple, healthy dinners for the kids and help prep food for the family. Light Clean-up: Keep the house tidy, which includes cleaning up after playtime, laundry, handling the kids' dishes, and wiping down the kitchen. Requirements Safe Driver: Must have a clean driving record, a reliable vehicle, and be comfortable installing and using car seats (which we will provide). Experience: Proven experience caring for toddlers/preschoolers (experience with multiple young kids at once is a huge plus!). Reliable & Proactive: Someone who sees what needs to be done (like tidying up or prepping a meal) and takes initiative. Certifications: CPR and First Aid certified preferred.
