Part-Time Nanny / Family Helper Needed in Alameda We are looking for a reliable, warm, and experienced part-time nanny / family helper for our 2.5-year-old son in Alameda. Our son attends daycare during the day, usually from around 8am–6pm. Both parents work full-time, so we are looking for help with morning routine, evening routine, and occasional backup care. Schedule: We are flexible and open to different arrangements. We do not necessarily need the same person to come both morning and evening on the same day. Possible hours: * Morning: around 7am–10am * Evening: around 4:30/5pm–8:30pm * Occasional daytime backup care when daycare is closed, our child is home, or one parent is traveling Responsibilities may include: * Helping with breakfast, getting dressed, brushing teeth, and packing daycare items * Daycare drop-off/pickup if needed * Preparing toddler meals/snacks * Playing with and engaging our toddler * Helping with dinner, bath, pajamas, brushing teeth, and bedtime routine * Light cleanup, such as dishes, high chair/table area, toys, daycare bag, and snacks * meal prep, such as washing/chopping vegetables, cooking rice, or preparing dinner We have a very friendly medium-sized Bernedoodle, so comfort around dogs is important. Occasional help with feeding, water, or a short walk around the house would be a plus, but child safety is always the priority. Ideal candidate: * Experience with toddlers * Warm, patient, reliable, and punctual * Comfortable with toddler routines, meals, potty training, and bedtime * Comfortable around dogs * Clear communication with parents * References preferred * CPR/First Aid preferred * Driver’s license preferred if helping with daycare pickup/drop-off We would love to start with a phone call and a paid trial to see if it is a good fit.
