Part-Time/ full time Nanny / Household Assistant Start Date: ASAP Location: Delray Beach, FL Compensation: Negotiable Schedule Friday: 4:00 PM – Overnight Saturday: Full Day & Overnight Sunday: Until 4:00 PM Additional weekday hours available based on mutual availability Some overnights required Occasional flexibility for schedule changes with advance notice whenever possible About the Family A warm and welcoming family is seeking an experienced, reliable, and proactive nanny to care for their 4-year-old child. The ideal candidate is nurturing, organized, energetic, and enjoys creating a safe, engaging, and structured environment while supporting the family's needs. Responsibilities Childcare Provide attentive, nurturing, and age-appropriate care for a 3-year-old child Create engaging educational and recreational activities Plan and supervise indoor and outdoor play Read books, assist with learning activities, and encourage developmental milestones Maintain a safe, positive, and structured environment Support bedtime, overnight routines, and morning routines as needed Accompany child on outings, activities, and appointments when appropriate Meal Preparation Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the child Meal prep for weekends and weekday transitions Clean up after meals and maintain kitchen organization related to childcare Household Support Keep play areas, bedrooms, and children's spaces clean and organized Assist with dishes and light household tasks related to the child Maintain organization throughout commonly used family areas Transportation Drive child to activities, appointments, or outings as needed Maintain safe driving practices at all times Requirements Previous nanny experience with toddlers required Experience with overnight care preferred Strong references (3 professional references required) Highly organized, dependable, and proactive Ability to take initiative and work independently Valid driver's license and clean driving record Reliable personal vehicle Comfortable working in a home with a pool and able to follow pool safety protocols CPR/First Aid certification preferred Comfortable with occasional schedule flexibility and additional weekday hours Ideal Candidate Warm, engaging, and energetic Experienced with toddler development Trustworthy and dependable Excellent communicator Long-term mindset and commitment to the family Comfortable balancing childcare and light household support
