About this nanny job

We are looking for a warm, reliable nanny or mother’s helper to support our family on weekday mornings. I am a stay-at-home mum to a happy, easygoing 14-month-old daughter and am currently in the early stages of pregnancy. During my previous pregnancy I experienced significant morning sickness, so I am hoping to find someone who can help with mornings at the moment. I will usually be at home during working hours, often downstairs, while you care for my daughter. She is an active, cheerful toddler who loves spending time outdoors, whether that’s in our garden or at the playground. A typical morning would involve playing with her, supervising outdoor time, reading books, and preparing her lunch. She currently takes two naps a day, including a morning nap. During nap time, we’d appreciate a little light household help related to the baby, such as tidying toys and play areas, cleaning up after meals, and also sweeping the cat’s litter box. We are not looking for someone to take on extensive housekeeping duties. The ideal person is kind, engaging, dependable, and enjoys spending time with toddlers. Experience with young children is preferred, and comfort taking a child to the park and encouraging outdoor play is important. This role would be a great fit for someone looking for a relaxed, family-oriented position where a parent is generally present in the home.
