About this nanny job

We are a loving family in Menlo Park seeking a warm, experienced, long-term nanny to grow with our family. We have two daughters: a toddler (2.5 years old) and a newborn. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys children, is nurturing and engaging, and can provide a safe, structured, and loving environment as our girls grow. Our ideal nanny is: • Experienced caring for both infants and toddlers • Kind, patient, and dependable • Comfortable setting gentle, age-appropriate boundaries • Proactive and organized • Focused on child development, learning, and play • Looking for a long-term position with one family Responsibilities include: • Providing attentive and loving care for our children • Engaging in age-appropriate activities, reading, music, outdoor play, and developmental learning • Supporting healthy routines, naps, meals, and transitions • Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children • Assisting with family meal prep as time permits • Children’s laundry and occasional family laundry • Washing bottles and keeping kitchen areas used for the children tidy • Keeping children’s bedrooms, play areas, and belongings organized • Preschool drop-off/pick-up and activities (driving may become part of the role in the future) We value open communication and view our nanny as an important partner in raising our children. We are looking for someone who can provide loving care while helping our daughters learn kindness, independence, confidence, and respect. Requirements: • 10+ years of nanny experience preferred • Experience caring for infants and toddlers simultaneously • Excellent references • CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to renew) • Reliable transportation • Authorized to work in the United States We hope to find someone who will become a meaningful part of our family’s life for years to come.
