About this nanny job

We are looking for a reliable, energetic, and incredibly flexible on-call babysitter to care for our two daughters. Because of the nature of my job, this position offers an unpredictable schedule with short notice. We find that having a "pool" of trusted sitters works best: when I receive a work request, I will check your availability, and once confirmed, I accept the job. If you are looking for a set weekly routine, this won't be a good fit—but if you have open pockets of time during the week and want to earn some extra money, we’d love to connect! 🕒 The Details Days & Hours: Primarily Tuesday – Friday, between 8:45 AM and 5:15 PM. Notice Time: Often short notice (sometimes just a few hours' warning). I may also get called in halfway through the day, so half-days are possible. Pets: We have a large, friendly dog and two cats (heads up if you have allergies!). 📋 Key Responsibilities Active Care: Keeping a 2-year-old and 4-year-old safe, engaged, and entertained (arts & crafts, outdoor play, reading, and puzzles). Meal Prep: Preparing simple meals and snacks for the kids. Light Cleanup: Helping maintain the general chaos (basic tidying after playtime and meals). Routine: Following the naptime routine for our 2-year-old. ⭐ What We’re Looking For Ultimate Flexibility: Ideal for a college student with a hybrid/online schedule, a freelancer, or someone living nearby with an open daytime calendar Tuesday–Friday. Experience: Previous experience caring for toddlers and preschoolers (bonus points if you've handled multiple kids at once). Rock-Solid Reliability: Because I am called into work, we need someone we can truly count on once a shift is accepted. Safety First: CPR and First Aid certifications are highly preferred. Transportation: Must have your own reliable vehicle to get to our house on short notice.
