About this nanny job

Hi! We’re a friendly family in Austin looking for a kind, reliable person to help us with our morning routine starting this September. Our son just turned one and we’re looking for someone who is proactive, gentle, and really enjoys the toddler stage. The core of the role is Monday–Friday, starting at 7:30 AM. You’ll help get our son ready for the day, handle breakfast, and manage the morning daycare drop-off. We can offer guaranteed hours for consistency as well. After drop-off 1-2 days a week, we’d love some help with light tasks like his laundry and tidying his areas. We have a sweet dog, so you’ll need to be totally comfortable with pets and able to let her out into the yard. If you’re a dog lover, we’re open to adding extra hours for walks, too! We’re looking for a long-term partner to become a part of our family, who can be relatively flexible—so if our son is mildly sick or we need occasional evening/weekend help, you’re the person we can call! What we’re looking for: You have a safe car, a clean driving record, and are a confident driver. You have experience with toddlers and bring a warm, positive energy. You’re fully vaccinated and can provide 3 great professional references You’re organized, punctual, and easy to communicate with. We really value kindness, safety, and clear communication.
