About this nanny job

My name is Brittan Vaughn. I am the nursery coordinator for Hope Presbyterian Church in New Braunfels. We are in need of a sitter from 9:30-11:30 on Sunday mornings. I will meet you at the church at 9:30 to show you where you’ll be working for the morning & how you can prep the room for kiddos. After the children have been picked up, please make sure toys are put back where they belong & the room is returned to how you found it. We rent the rooms we use and we want to respect the owners space. We have three classrooms. Babies for 3 months-walking, Toddlers for 1-2 year olds and Preschool for 3-4 year olds. I will let you know what class you’ll be placed in when you arrive. You will work with an adult volunteer from our church who is background checked and there to help you. During the hours you are working for us, we ask that you not be on your phone, take any calls or texts (unless it’s an emergency) and please do not take any pictures of the kids while you are working for us. Thank you! We are looking for someone who is very outgoing and welcoming to kids and parents, letting them know that we are a fun and safe environment for their children. We are looking for someone who can easily calm down and distract the child as to make the drop off time go smoother. A couple of other notes… -You are responsible for changing a child’s diaper if it’s needed. It is not the volunteers job. -Please help clean up the room before you leave. Toys, snack, craft, crumbs. We have wipes and a vacuum for any messes. We hope to meet you soon!
