About this nanny job

We are seeking a caring and reliable part-time nanny to provide afternoon care for our preschool-age son. The role centers on supporting his daily routine after preschool, ensuring he is safe, comfortable, and well cared for throughout the afternoon. The nanny will receive our son when he returns home from preschool and help him with lunch, then settle him down for his nap and supervise his rest. Once he is awake, the nanny will engage him in age-appropriate play, reading, and activities that support his development and wellbeing, and will also handle bath time as part of the daily routine. Additional responsibilities include keeping his immediate spaces clean and tidy and providing us with updates on how his day has gone. The ideal candidate has prior experience caring for toddlers or preschool-age children, along with a warm, patient, and attentive manner. Reliability and good communication are essential, as is the ability to follow and maintain a consistent daily routine of meals, naps, play, and bath time. A calm, gentle presence and a genuine enjoyment of working with young children are important to us.
