About this nanny job

We are looking for a dependable, caring, and organized nanny/family assistant to help care for our 12-year-old daughter and support her busy school and activity schedule. We are seeking someone who can become a positive, consistent presence in her life and help provide structure, encouragement, and supervision during after-school hours. Primary Responsibilities: * School drop-off and pick-up (schedule and transportation arrangements are flexible) * Transportation to and from after-school activities, sports, lessons, and appointments * Homework supervision and ensuring assignments are completed * Preparing healthy snacks and simple meals/dinners * Helping maintain a structured daily routine * Providing a safe, supportive, and engaging environment * Encouraging responsibility, good manners, and positive decision-making * Light assistance with keeping common areas and activity items organized * Communicating regularly with parent regarding schedules, activities, and any concerns Schedule: * Primarily weekday afternoons and evenings after school * Additional hours may be available on weekends, including occasional Saturdays and Sundays * Flexibility is appreciated, as activity schedules may vary throughout the year Ideal Candidate: * Experienced nanny, babysitter, teacher, coach, or caregiver * Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy * Strong communication and organizational skills * Comfortable working independently and managing a busy schedule * Positive role model with a patient and encouraging personality * Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable vehicle * Non-smoker preferred * CPR/First Aid certification is a plus * Able to provide references from previous childcare positions
