About this nanny job

Full-Time Summer Caregiver (35–40 hrs/week) – Sunnyvale Care for 5-year-old autistic child entering Kindergarten (K2). Seeking experienced caregiver (paraeducator, RBT, ABA therapist, special education teacher/student, or strong autism experience). Role includes: • Building and running a structured daily routine + simple learning plan • Using visual schedules and supporting transitions • Kindergarten readiness (attention, communication, following directions, early learning) • Planning play-based activities + community outings (parks, library, Sky Zone, etc.) • Supervising swimming/water activities • Supporting emotional regulation throughout the day Goal: consistent, structured, “summer school-style” routine with one caregiver to prepare for kindergarten. Must have autism/special needs experience, valid driver’s license, and comfort with active outings + swimming.
