About this nanny job

We are a family of four in the central sunset looking for our next nanny. The job will primarily consist of caring for our son, who was born in May. Infant experience is required, as we will need support with sleep, solids, and developmental milestones. The position will also require some help here and there with our three year old daughter. She is enrolled in full time school, but we will need help some days with pick ups and/or drop offs. Additionally, during the ~10 weeks that school is out, we’ll need more help getting her to and from camps around the city (which have less hours of coverage than school) and/or watching her at home. Driving is required and we strongly prefer a candidate with their own car. Additional responsibilities would include food prep for the kids and family and occasional travel. Rate DOE but pay will be competitive. We can guarantee 40 hours a week on the books and will often need closer to 45-50 hours a week. PTO and sick days offered. While we’ll communicate the schedule well in advance, we will need some help some evenings, early mornings, and potentially weekends depending on our work schedules and to establish a regular date night. Candidate would not be required to be available each weekend day we need help, as we can get some other help in rotation as well. We’re looking for a long term engagement and would love to find someone who can stay with our family for at least two years. French language in no way required but would be a huge benefit, as our daughter is enrolled in French school.
