About this nanny job

We're looking for a nanny to help care for our happy, active 15-month-old daughter a few evenings a week. We need support 2-3 weekdays from around 5-7pm, and we'd love to find someone who can become a familiar, trusted part of her routine. About our daughter: She's at such a fun, curious stage, into everything, always on the move, and full of personality. She loves being read to, dancing to music, exploring toys, and getting outside when the weather's nice. We're looking for someone who genuinely lights up around toddlers and brings energy, patience, and creativity to playtime. What the role involves: - Engaging in fun, age-appropriate activities — books, music, movement, sensory play, simple crafts, or whatever keeps her happy and stimulated - Helping prepare and serve a simple, healthy dinner (we'll share her current favorites and any allergies/preferences) - Leading or supporting our bedtime routine — bath, pajamas, brushing teeth, books, and a calm wind-down before sleep - Light tidying of toys and play areas during your shift - Clear communication with us about how the evening went, naps, meals, mood, etc. What we're hoping to find: - Prior experience caring for infants and toddlers, ideally in the 12-24 month range - Warm, patient, attentive, and comfortable taking initiative with activities and meals - We're hoping for an ongoing arrangement rather than one-off bookings, since routine and familiarity matter a lot at this age - Strong communication skills with parents - CPR/First Aid certification is a plus - Comfortable references from previous families Schedule & logistics: We're looking for 2-3 weekday evenings per week, generally between 5-7pm, with some flexibility for the right person. We're hoping to build a long-term relationship with someone our daughter can recognize and feel comfortable with, rather than rotating sitters.
