Part-Time Nanny for 16-Month-Old Toddler (Spanish is a plus) We are seeking a reliable, attentive, and safety-focused nanny to care for our 16-month-old son in our home. A parent will typically be home during working hours, but the nanny must be comfortable providing independent childcare and engaging activities throughout the day. Responsibilities -Provide attentive, hands-on care for a toddler. -Supervise playtime, meals, naps, and daily routines. - Serve toddler meals and snacks following strict allergy guidelines. -Maintain a clean and organized play area and highchair after use. -Monitor for any signs of allergic reactions and follow emergency procedures if needed. -Communicate daily updates regarding meals, naps, activities, and overall well-being. Allergy & Safety Requirements Our child has multiple food allergies. The nanny must be comfortable following strict allergy precautions at all times. Known allergies include: * Dairy/Milk * Eggs * Peanuts * Tree Nuts (including almond, walnut, pecan, and cashew) * Sesame * Coconut Requirements: -No sharing food with the child unless approved by the parent. -Read ingredient labels carefully. -Avoid bringing allergen-containing foods into direct contact with the child. -Follow all food preparation and cleaning procedures provided by the family. - Be comfortable learning and using an EpiPen in case of emergency. Pets We have friendly dogs in the home. The nanny must be comfortable working around pets and ensuring doors/gates remain secure. Ideal Candidate * Experience caring for infants and toddlers. * CPR and First Aid certified (preferred). * Experience with food allergies is strongly preferred. * Dependable, patient, and attentive to detail. * Comfortable working in a home where a parent may be present during the day. Additional Notes * Parent will often be home and available if needed. * This position requires excellent communication and a strong focus on child safety. * References and prior childcare experience are required. Most important qualities: Safety, reliability, attentiveness, and strict adherence to allergy precautions.
