Part-Time Evening Nanny (Mon & Wed, 4:00–8:00 PM) 2 children: ages 3 and 6 We are a warm, respectful family looking for an experienced, dependable, and trustworthy evening nanny/family assistant to help care for our two children and keep our evenings running smoothly. We are hoping to find someone who genuinely enjoys working with children, is proactive and organized, and will become a valued part of our family’s routine. One parent is usually home during the evening, although occasionally both parents may be working or unavailable. We are looking for someone who is comfortable taking initiative and managing the children’s evening routine with confidence. We are looking for someone who is: loving, patient, and engaging with children, trustworthy, reliable, and punctual, communicative and professional, experienced caring for multiple children, Comfortable with potty training and elementary-age homework support, organized and proactive, focused on the children (someone who stays present and engaged with the children during working hours). Responsibilities include: 1) Childcare -Supervising and engaging the children in play and age-appropriate activities -Helping our 6-year-old with homework and reading practice -Actively assisting with potty training for our 3-year-old -Assisting with bath time, pajamas, and the bedtime routine -Helping keep the children’s bedrooms and play areas tidy -Light meal preparation (preparing simple, healthy dinners for the children) -packing lunch boxes and snacks for the next school day -emptying backpacks and helping organize school items 2) Household Support -Cleaning up after meals and loading/unloading the dishwasher -Wiping kitchen counters and keeping common areas tidy -Children’s laundry and changing bed sheets as needed -Light sweeping or vacuuming and other light household tasks if time permits Above all, we are looking for someone who will provide a safe, loving, and positive environment for our children and who takes pride in helping our home run smoothly. We value open communication, professionalism, and mutual respect, and hope to build a long-term relationship with the right person. Compensation: $38/hour We do not have pets. Kids do not have any allergies. Days/hours are flexible and to be discussed with caregiver. Start Date: As soon as possible.
