About our family We're a busy family of four! We just welcomed a girl in April, and our 3-year-old boy is full of energy and curiosity. We're looking for someone who is comfortable both working alongside a parent (until they go back to work in 2027) and managing the day independently. The schedule Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm. Our 3-year-old is in school Monday through Wednesday from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm. Occasional evenings and weekends with advance notice are appreciated but not required. What you'll do Primary care for our baby and toddler, meal prep and cooking simple meals and snacks for the kids, children's laundry, and light housekeeping. Driving may be needed in the future (own vehicle required). Joining us on an occasional domestic trip is a nice-to-have, not a requirement. Who we're looking for Someone calm, consistent, and genuinely present.You create structure through simple daily rhythms and know that consistency is what helps little ones feel safe. With our toddler, you give him room to work things out before stepping in. With our newborn, you're responsive and attentive, reading her cues early and keeping her close. You lean toward hands-on, simple activities over screens, and familiarity with Waldorf or attachment-based caregiving is a bonus. Most importantly, you bring steady, unhurried energy into our home every day. A few practicalities Must be up to date on vaccinations (COVID, MMR, Tdap, flu) or willing to get them Experience with food allergies and willingness to learn EpiPen use is important to us as our toddler has a mild allergy to walnuts/pecans. Must be comfortable working alongside a parent who is home at times during the day Compensation & benefits Salary: $35–$40/hour, depending on experience.
