Seeking an Experienced, Recurring Babysitter for Our Toddler We're looking for an experienced, dependable babysitter to become a consistent part of our family's life and build a lasting relationship with our 19-month-old daughter, Lainey. Our first priority is finding someone available for recurring Friday evenings so my husband and I can enjoy regular date nights. We're also interested in adding one weekday daytime shift (morning or afternoon) each week. While our immediate needs are modest, we'd love to find someone we can continue working with as our family's childcare needs evolve. Lainey is a happy, curious, and active toddler who loves music, dancing, reading books, and exploring outside. She's social, playful, and thrives with caregivers who are warm, engaged, and confident with this age. She has a consistent routine: * Wake: 7:30 AM * Nap: 1–2:30 PM * Dinner: 5:30/6 PM * Bedtime: Bath, tooth brushing, books and lullabies for an 8 PM bedtime While she's sleeping, we'd appreciate help with a few light child-related tasks, such as washing her cups and dishes, or tidying her toys and play areas. Her care and safety are always the priority but we appreciate the extra help when time allows. I'm a stay-at-home mom, and my husband works from home full time. We had a wonderful recurring sitter when we lived in San Francisco who became a trusted part of our family. Now that we've moved to Seattle, we're hoping to find that same kind of relationship again - someone who will become a familiar, trusted presence in Lainey's life. We're looking for someone who has experience caring for toddlers, is reliable, communicative, and punctual, and genuinely enjoys encouraging learning through play. CPR/First Aid certification is a must. Above all, we're looking for someone we feel completely comfortable leaving Lainey with - someone with excellent judgment, a calm and nurturing presence, and a genuine love for working with young children.
