Live-Out Nanny | Infant Care | Ivoryton, CT | $22/Hour | 30 Guaranteed Hours/Week Athedah Household Staffing is seeking a warm, nurturing, and experienced live-out nanny on behalf of a wonderful family in Ivoryton, Connecticut. This long-term position begins in late July 2026 and offers the opportunity to become a trusted part of a family's life while providing exceptional care for their infant. The ideal candidate is gentle, dependable, organized, and passionate about supporting infant development. The mother works primarily from home and values open communication while allowing the nanny the independence to establish routines, enjoy walks, and engage the child in age-appropriate activities. Responsibilities: • Provide loving, attentive, and developmentally appropriate care for the infant. • Establish routines for feeding, naps, playtime, and daily activities. • Prepare, clean, and organize bottles and infant feeding supplies. • Encourage developmental milestones through reading, tummy time, sensory play, and interactive activities. • Take the child on walks and age-appropriate outings. • Maintain a clean, organized nursery and child-related spaces. • Wash, fold, and organize the child's clothing, linens, and toys. • Communicate daily updates regarding feedings, naps, routines, and developmental progress. • Assist with light household duties, including loading/unloading the dishwasher, wiping kitchen counters, and tidying common areas used throughout the day. Qualifications: • Professional infant nanny experience preferred. • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). • Excellent references. • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. • Strong communication skills and a long-term commitment. Position Details: • Location: Ivoryton, CT • Start Date: Late July 2026 • Schedule: Approximately 30 guaranteed hours per week • Compensation: $20–22/hour, depending on experience and qualifications • Additional weekday or occasional evening hours may be available.
