Part- Time Family Assistant / House Assistant driving and meal prep We are seeking a dependable, organized, and warm House Assistant to support a busy San Francisco household with three children. This role blends household support with regular, hands-on help with the kids, including driving, after-school care, and meal preparation for the children. The ideal candidate is proactive, calm, and comfortable working independently in a dynamic family environment. Responsibilities Include: -School pick-up and drop-off as needed -Drive children to after-school activities, sports, playdates, and appointments -Supervise children during after-school hours (snacks, homework help, playtime, routines) -Assist with dinner or bedtime routines (depending on schedule) -Help manage backpacks, lunchboxes, sports gear and activity schedules -Keep kids’ rooms, play areas, and school items organized -Set up and clean up for playdates, birthday parties, or school events -Meal Prep for Kids (Key Part of the Role) -Maintain general tidiness of common areas (kitchen, play areas, living spaces) -Manage light family laundry (wash, fold, put away - we have outside laundry help 2-3x a week so not sure much laundry support is needed) -Light kitchen support (unloading groceries, organizing fridge/pantry) -Manage packages, returns, and deliveries - breakdown boxes etc. -Run household errands (grocery pickup, dry cleaning, pharmacy, etc.) -Keep track of household supplies and when items need to be ordered -Keep track of grocery list and unload groceries or be able to go to the grocery store Ideal Candidate -Warm, patient, and responsible with children -Proactive and self-directed -Flexible and adaptable to changing schedules -Trustworthy and discreet -Able to balance household tasks, driving, and meal prep smoothly -One year commitment is a MUST *bonus will be given after one year with family*
