Hello, Our family is looking for afterschool childcare for our soon to be seven year old son (& potentially his friend too.) This position would begin in the fall, but we’re starting our search now, because we’re dedicated to finding the right fit. Our son is an empathetic, creative, curious child who loves to make people laugh. He has a best friend who might also be in need of childcare, so you could potential be babysitting her as well, unless her family goes with another option. Hours would be Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri: 2-5 pm & Weds: 1-5 (school ends at 2:25, except on Weds, when it’s 1:10. You would be responsible for school pick up, so having a vehicle or being familiar with public transit is a must. About our family: Our son is the youngest of 4. My husband & I both work in education & we’re artists. We have a pet dachshund. We believe love is love & people are people. We’re anti-hatred/bigotry (if your values don’t align with that, that would be a dealbreaker for us.)
