About this nanny job

We’re looking for a friendly, dependable, and engaging companion/academic support person for our 19-year-old daughter in the West LA/UCLA area (90025). She is high-functioning on the autism spectrum, enjoys spending time with others, and is working toward greater independence. This is a rewarding opportunity for a college student, recent graduate, future educator, therapist, psychologist, or anyone interested in working with young adults. Responsibilities include spending time together at home (games, conversation, activities), accompanying her on community outings, and helping with organization, studying, and homework for her part-time classes at Santa Monica College. We’re looking for someone who is patient, positive, reliable, and enjoys building meaningful connections. Experience with autism, tutoring, education, psychology, special education, or caregiving is a plus, but not required. Schedule: Approximately 10–15 hours per week with flexible scheduling. Most support is needed during weekday daytime hours, with occasional weekend availability. Pay: Up to $32/hour, depending on experience. If this sounds like a great fit, we’d love to hear from you!
