About this nanny job

Looking for a part-time nanny/family assistant to help out with our baby in the late afternoon/evening, ideally ~3/4-7/8 PM (flexible). We love spending time with our daughter in the evenings but sometimes schedules are tough, so our ideal situation is to have a third set of hands around every day who can flex around us -- frequently do daycare pickup (10min walk from our house and we will provide a car w/ carseat to use as needed), prepare and feed dinner, bath, bedtime, tidy toys, light laundry. We both work from home and in the past when we had a full-time nanny we stayed fully out of her hair -- in this situation we're envisioning more fluidity with if/when we're around, and someone who is willing to use the time when we're engaging with our daughter to handle more of the baby-oriented chores. We'd also love this person to be available to occasionally stay late so we could go out to dinner. If you want to do more outings, we'd love that! Farmers market in the summer, storytime at the library, music classes, playgrounds are all great. Our daughter is a smiley girl with no stranger danger. She loves food and new experiences. Loves being outside, plants, animals (we have 2 pets! an elderly cat and a young pittie. both are good with baby). She falls asleep quickly and stays down for 11-12h overnight. Our house is a 10min walk from the Ideal Market/Whole Foods, 20min from Pearl St. It's 2 floors and the baby's bedroom and laundry room are both upstairs, kitchen and play space downstairs, and access to the back yard.
