Temporary Afternoon Nanny Needed | Late July through Late August | San Francisco We’re a warm, organized family in San Francisco looking for an experienced nanny to join us for a temporary position from late July through late August, until our long-term nanny begins. This would be a wonderful opportunity for someone whose regular family is away for the summer or anyone looking to pick up several weeks of consistent work. We have two wonderful young children: a kind, curious daughter starting kindergarten this fall and an energetic, fun-loving preschool-aged son. We’re looking for someone who genuinely loves spending time with young children and brings a calm, engaging, and positive energy to our home. Schedule * Monday-Friday * Approximately 12:00-7:00 p.m. * 35 guaranteed hours per week * We’d love someone who has occasional flexibility to come in earlier or stay later when our schedules require it (with advance notice whenever possible). We’re looking for someone who is: * An experienced childcare professional with excellent references * A very safe, confident driver with a clean driving record (family car provided for school pickup, activities, etc.) * Reliable, punctual, and highly organized * Proactive and comfortable helping keep a busy household running smoothly * CPR/First Aid certified is a plus Responsibilities include: * School and activity pickup/drop-off * Planning fun, engaging afternoons * Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the kids * Children’s laundry * Tidying children’s bedrooms, play areas, and belongings * Helping keep the kitchen and other child-related spaces neat and organized We’re looking for someone who feels like a true partner in helping our afternoons run smoothly.
